Alicia Sterling Beach

Despite growing up Venezuela, Brazil, New Mexico and Arizona—yes, as a legal, American citizen—Alicia readily admits that she’s never surpassed her New York-born, late parent’s fluency in Spanish and Portuguese. Alicia received her BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, after stints studying at Wellesley College, Harvard University GSD and Yale. Her Masters in Fine Art in 1994, from the University of California at Irvine, catapulted her into a part-time-gig-economy as an itinerant arts educator, activist, exhibiting artist, videographer, writer, singer and actor.
