Vic Gerami is a writer, activist and media contributor, spending six years with Frontiers Magazine, followed by LA Weekly and Voice Media Group. He is currently a finalist for the Los Angeles Press Club’s “National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Award”, for his column, “10 Questions with Vic.”
His work has appeared in various publications including The Advocate, OUT, GoWeHo, Los Angeles Blade and WeHo Times. He was featured in the Wall Street Journal as a “Leading Gay Activist” for opposing Prop 8 and his marriage equality advocacy.
In 2015, he was noted in the landmark Supreme Court lawsuit, Obergefell v. Hodges, in which the Court held in a 5–4 decision that the fundamental right to marry is guaranteed to same-sex couples by both the Due Process Clause and the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution.
